Is Gradmin a full curriculum or a supplement?
Either. Families can use complete K-12 core-subject curricula as their main program, or assign individual courses and units to fill a gap or follow an interest.
Is Gradmin a school, and is it accredited?
Gradmin is a curriculum and learning platform, not a school. It does not issue a diploma or replace the parent or organization responsible for the homeschool. Families remain responsible for their local requirements and final graduation decisions.
Can I see what my child will learn before they start?
Yes. You can review the curriculum structure, topics, standards, and planned assessments before assigning the work.
How much adult time does it require?
You choose the work and schedule, review written submissions, and step in when a learner needs you. Gradmin brings preparation, routine scoring, and progress together; the time you spend depends on the learner and how you use it.
What happens when a learner gets stuck?
The lesson tutor can offer explanations and guided practice in context. With supervisor permission, learners can also use Help with a question for text or photo questions in a separate session. These sessions remain available for supervisor review and do not award grades, mastery, or standards credit.
Can a learner work on paper instead of typing?
Yes. Print a study guide or test, work by hand, and upload photos. Written submissions preserve the source pages so you can inspect them alongside extracted work and proposed feedback. Uploading work and AI help require an internet connection.
How are standards and outside learning recorded?
Platform work stays connected to its standards automatically. For co-op work, field studies, projects, and other outside learning, Gradmin proposes credit and waits for your approval.
How do you handle privacy and AI safety?
Student work is not sold or shared with advertisers. Lesson tutoring uses the current learning context, separate question help is permission-controlled, and supervisors can review sessions. AI-generated material and judgments can be wrong; adult review and correction remain important.
Will my child revisit what they learned?
Yes. Mastered ideas return through spaced review. Topics that need more practice come back sooner, while strong knowledge is checked less often over time.
Can more than one adult help supervise?
Yes. Parents, tutors, and co-op educators can be linked as supervisors for a learner. Invited observers can view shared progress without managing learning. Access depends on the role and workflow; a learner link does not make every adult’s uploads shared.
What does early access cost?
